Qulaifying for Rounds 9 and 10

The soaring heat at Croft circuit today (16th July 2005) made for a hot day and a hot track. With a difference in track behaviour from Thursday's practice session, all drivers reported oversteer problems, that makes the rear of the car 'move around' when going around corners.

Further to this, the tyres seemed to lose their grip after the first couple of laps of each session.

Changes were made to each car between the two qualifying sessions in a hope of some improvement for round 10 qualifying, but with no improvement in positions. However, all drivers reported better car balance afterwards.

Said Tom Kimber-Smith: "We'll have to just try and pull something out of the bag tomorrow for the race. It's going to be hard, but it's possible."
