Team JLR history:
The Sixties and Seventies. Established in 1964 by the late Jim Lee whose initials still form the company name (Jim Lee Racing). Set up to manufacture and race motorbikes, using British precision engineering, taking on the giants in the bike business and beating them.
The Eighties. Broadening its racing involvements to encompass car racing in the mid-eighties, Competing nationally and internationally, from Formula Ford to Formula Three.
The Nineties. Winning over one hundred races and six major Championships at the forefront of major motorsport competition at the British Touring Car Championship race meetings.
Current: Well established experienced and respected Team preparing and presenting racing cars to the highest standards. Organising and implementing promotional programmes within motorsport for major corporate partners.
